This is the perfect choice for your dog fencing. Our 50mm x 50mm hole 14g welded wire mesh is available in either a hot dipped galvanized finish (galvanized after welding) or a European pre-galvanized finish (pre-galvanized means that the wire has been hot dipped galvanized before welding). Whilst a hot dipped galvanized finish is traditionally considered to be more rust resitant, European pre-galvanizing is excellent and is just as rust resistant when used outside. The European pre-galvanized mesh has a slightly shinier / smoother finish.

Our dog fencing is ideal for small, medium and large dogs. If you have a very large, or particilarly strong dog then you may want to consider a slightly thicker wire. Please click on the following link to view our dog fencing for very large dogs.

Hello, we have a hedge 88 feet long which we wish to fence to keep a dog in . Can you please advise of the comings and tips for doing it ourselves please .

A great product for dog proofing is our 50mm x 50mm 14 gauge welded wire mesh. This is a medium-weight mesh, so has a decent structure to it (it's not a flimsy mesh), and is reasonably strong. I would say that this is suitable for most dogs, unless you have a very strong / aggressive dog who is an escape artist! This specification is the same hole size and wire thickness required for dog kennels.

Delivery Information

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information

We are processing and dispatching orders as normal, and orders are usually dispatched either the same day or the next Working Day. Due to high pressures on all courier networks, some delays and split deliveries may be possible (please allow up to 2 Working Days for Express Deliveries and up to 4 Working Days for Standard Deliveries, excluding weekends and Bank Holidays). A slightly longer lead time may apply to certain postcodes, but this will be made clear in the Delivery Options at the Checkout.

Having anticipated short supplies of goods at the beginning of the year, we have filled our warehouse with stock. Whilst a certain product may be out of stock on our website, we will have an alternative option available which will be in stock – please feel free to ask our live chat agents for alternatives if you cannot find a suitable product for your application.

We may find that over the next few days or weeks that the speed of service we take pride in providing may be delayed slightly, either due to the requirement for staff members to self-isolate, or due to the pressures on the courier networks. Should this issue arise, we will do our very best to keep you fully informed, and rest assured that we will do everything possible to dispatch and deliver your order. If we could ask that you bear with us that would be very much appreciated, especially in the case of potential delivery issues. Some delivery delays may be unavoidable, as all UK courier networks are at full capacity due to  unprecedented levels of deliveries, combined with a potential shortage of drivers due to self-isolation requirements.
