Extra Strong Galvanized Mesh 19mm x 19mm (For Rat Protection)
The extra thick 1.6mm wire makes it impossible for rats to chew through the mesh. The 19mm x 19mm hole is perfect for keeping rats out.

Welded Galvanized Steel Mesh 6mm x 6mm Extra Heavy (For Rat and Mouse Protection)
Our Extra Heavy galvanized 6mm x 6mm mesh has been specifically manufactured with a thicker 0.8mm wire to prevent rats from chewing through. The 6mm x 6mm hole will also keep the mice out. Please note that this product has a thicker wire than our standard 6mm x 6mm welded mesh.

Welded Stainless Steel Mesh 6mm x 6mm (For Rat and Mouse Protection)
Stainless steel is a harder material than mild steel, which makes it ideal for rat and mouse protection in the home, office or factory. Stainless steel is more rust resistant than galvanized mesh for long lasting protection.

Our 6mm x 6mm steel welded mesh will prevent mice from fitting through any cracks. The strong wire also prevents rats and mice from gnawing larger holes, as they cannot chew through the mesh.

These products are used by pest control specialists, and are the industry standard for rodent protection.

Hi I have a problem with mice and I was advised to buy a galvanised steel woven mash with hole size 3mm, a friend of mind recommended your website to me but when I looked in your products I found only the 6mm hole mesh on sale! please if you have the 3mm hole galvanised steel woven mash 10 meters roll please email me back with the link so I can made my purchase ...many thanks ... waiting for your kind reply

Thank-you for the enquiry.

The 6mm x 6mm hole welded wire mesh will be suitable for mice. We supply this material to pest control specialists, supermarkets etc., and the 6mm x 6mm hole is small enough to keep the mice out.

The only option we would have in a 3mm hole would be our woven stainless steel mesh (we have an option with a 3.3mm hole size). This is priced per metre.

The woven stainless steel mesh is a lot more expensive than the welded 6mm x 6mm mesh, and we are confident that the 6mm x 6mm mesh will be suitable to keep out mice.

Hi, Is it OK to bury the rat meshing underground? We have Rat nest under the Chicken coop and I wanna put a meshing on on whole coop area (about 12m square) but not sure if the mesh will rust in time (even though it's stainless steel)
Thanks
Steve

Thank you for your enquiry.

Stainless steel would provide an excellent solution to protecting your chicken coop flooring, although all materials eventually deteriorate stainless steel would provide you with a long lasting finish. Although environmental factors such as the composition of the soil can have an impact on the mesh, you will find that a stainless steel finish will still offer great protection against corrosion.

What tool do I use to cut the mesh to my size requirements

Thank-you for the enquiry.

The best tool to cut the rat mesh is our Aviation wire cutter.

Looking at a product that can go underground a few inches, and then be covered, ie soil/grass, around property exterior.rodents are digging down and entering property cavity, as builders did not completely seal the trench blocks used in a new build.Rodents are coming up from underneath into rock wool and seriously doing my head in, as you can hear them at night☹️Thinking of 1 metre mesh out from walls, strong rat proof!!, buried forever, never rusting?

Thank-you for the enquiry. The stainless steel 6mm x 6mm would be the best option for the job.

Although eventually any material will rust away, the stainless steel option will be the longest lasting and it should last for many years. Also, given that stainless steel is a harder material than mild steel, the 6mm x 6mm will be strong enough to stop rats from chewing through whilst having a small enough hole size to keep out mice.

What would you suggest to block holes under soffits to prevent rats entering loft ?

Thank-you for the enquiry.

To keep rats out, we would suggest a 6mm x 6mm welded mesh with a 0.8mm thick wire. Alternatively, you can use a 6mm x 6mm hole mesh with a slightly lighter wire in stainless steel (as stainless is a harder material than mild steel).

The above options can be cut easily with a decent pair of wire cutters, such as our aviation cutters.

Internet shopping is the way forward!

Thanks for that. This is yet further proof, if any was needed, that internet shopping is the way forward! I went to my local garden centre yesterday and they were unhelpful, to put it mildly, and I leave for work and arrive back in the dark, so shops are out of the question. - by R.H from Birmingham
