Grade 316 stainless steel contains molybdenum, which is added to boost its resistance to corrosion and should be selected if the material is to be used in a salt water or coastal environment.
Please note that from time to time we may substitute grade 304 stainless steel for the higher quality grade 316 stainless steel (unless we are requested not to do so). The material is priced per linear metre here on our website, and we offer a bulk cutting service as well as a range of cut disc sizes.
