European Made, Galvanized Before Welding

90cm high x 25m roll

Imperial Measurements : (3ft x 82ft)

Code: CB8

More info Less info

This product is European made to a high standard, and has a pre-galvanized finish. This means that the wire has been hot dipped galvanized before welding to protect the mesh from rusting. The wire gauge (or "g") refers to the thickness of the wire. Although it is counter-intuitive, the lower the wire gauge number the thicker the wire is. For example, a 16g wire is thicker than a 19g wire.

Details

We offer our 19mm x 19mm hole welded wire mesh in a hot dipped galvanized finish and a European pre-galvanized finish (pre-galvanized means that the wire has been hot dipped galvanized before welding). Whilst a hot dipped galvanized finish is traditionally considered to be more rust resitant, European pre-galvanizing is excellent and is just as rust resistant when used outside. The European pre-galvanized mesh has a slightly shinier / smoother finish.

This product is a medium to heavy-weight welded wire mesh, which is ideal for rat and squirrel protection. The 19mm x 19mm hole is small enough to keep rats and squirrels out, and the 16 gauge wire (approx. 1.6mm) is thick enough to prevent them from chewing through the mesh. We have supplied this product for rat and squirrel protection to many of our customers, including pest control companies. It is also a good choice for general garden use and fencing applications. The mesh has a hot dipped galvanized finish to protect against rusting.

Delivery Information

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information

We are processing and dispatching orders as normal, and orders are usually dispatched either the same day or the next Working Day. Due to high pressures on all courier networks, some delays and split deliveries may be possible (please allow up to 2 Working Days for Express Deliveries and up to 4 Working Days for Standard Deliveries, excluding weekends and Bank Holidays). A slightly longer lead time may apply to certain postcodes, but this will be made clear in the Delivery Options at the Checkout.

Having anticipated short supplies of goods at the beginning of the year, we have filled our warehouse with stock. Whilst a certain product may be out of stock on our website, we will have an alternative option available which will be in stock – please feel free to ask our live chat agents for alternatives if you cannot find a suitable product for your application.

We may find that over the next few days or weeks that the speed of service we take pride in providing may be delayed slightly, either due to the requirement for staff members to self-isolate, or due to the pressures on the courier networks. Should this issue arise, we will do our very best to keep you fully informed, and rest assured that we will do everything possible to dispatch and deliver your order. If we could ask that you bear with us that would be very much appreciated, especially in the case of potential delivery issues. Some delivery delays may be unavoidable, as all UK courier networks are at full capacity due to  unprecedented levels of deliveries, combined with a potential shortage of drivers due to self-isolation requirements.
