Description

Woven stainless steel mesh is used for a large number of applications, including filtration, ventilation, machine guards, pest proofing. Woven 250 Mesh is a very fine, cloth-like mesh with a very small hole size. Given that the material is extremely flexible, it may need the support of a frame to add rigidity.

The mesh count refers to how many holes there are on a linear inch on the material i.e. if you place a ruler on the mesh, our 250 Mesh would have 250 holes per linear inch.

This mesh is only available in our higher quality grade 316 stainless steel (sometimes called Marine Grade). Grade 316 stainless steel contains molybdenum, which is added to boost its resistance to corrosion and should be selected if the material is to be used in a salt water or coastal environment.

The material is priced per linear metre on the website.

Delivery & Returns

Delivery and returns

Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information

We are processing and dispatching orders as normal, and orders are usually dispatched either the same day or the next Working Day. Due to high pressures on all courier networks, some delays and split deliveries may be possible (please allow up to 3 Working Days for Express Deliveries and up to 5 Working Days for Standard Deliveries, excluding weekends and Bank Holidays). A slightly longer lead time may apply to certain postcodes, but this will be made clear in the Delivery Options at the Checkout.

Having anticipated short supplies of goods at the beginning of the year, we have filled our warehouse with stock. Whilst a certain product may be out of stock on our website, we will have an alternative option available which will be in stock – please feel free to ask our live chat agents for alternatives if you cannot find a suitable product for your application.

We may find that over the next few days or weeks that the speed of service we take pride in providing may be delayed slightly, either due to the requirement for staff members to self-isolate, or due to the pressures on the courier networks. Should this issue arise, we will do our very best to keep you fully informed, and rest assured that we will do everything possible to dispatch and deliver your order. If we could ask that you bear with us that would be very much appreciated, especially in the case of potential delivery issues. Some delivery delays may be unavoidable, as all UK courier networks are at full capacity due to unprecedented levels of deliveries, combined with a potential shortage of drivers due to self-isolation requirements.
